Soft chocolate cake with strawberry and condensed milk filling

We all have our days when we want to celebrate, to share a moment with the ones we love. This is what this cake is all about. A soft and moist chocolate cake with a deliciously gooey filling that melts in your mouth, it's the perfect pick-me-up for any occasion.


3 cups of flour

1 cup cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

3 eggs

1 ½ cups oil

1 ½ cups buttermilk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 ½ cups sugar

1 1/2 cups whole milk (buttermilk)

2 lemons (buttermilk)

For the filling.

100gr butter

2 cans of condensed milk

150gr powdered milk

200gr strawberries cut into pieces

1. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.

2. Grease the pan and place buttered paper on the bottom and flour.

3. For the buttermilk: mix the milk with the lemon juice and let stand for 15 minutes.

4. In a bowl, sift flour with baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Set aside.

5. In another bowl, mix the eggs with the oil, buttermilk and vanilla.

6. Add dry ingredients in two batches and mix with wrapping motions.

7. Add sugar and mix until well combined.

8. Place batter in pan and bake for 25 minutes, until a thin knife or height stick inserted into the pan comes out clean.

9. Cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.

10. We cut our cake into two or three pieces. Depending on your preference. 

For the filling.

1. In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the condensed milk and milk powder, mix well until you get a homogeneous mass and add the chopped strawberries.

2. Pour it into the first base of the cake and add the lid that you had previously removed. Coat the cake with melted milk chocolate and decorate as you wish.
